HylianFox 01/28/20 9:46:26 PM #1:	In DC, just about every superhero has a secret idendity to the point where it's not just cliche, it's expected. Easily the defining moment in the MCU was when, at the end of the very first film, Tony Stark just flat-out says "I am Iron Man" to a crowded pressroom (rather than the BS he was supposed to say). The MCU has proven they can pull the most ridiculous left field choices and make compelling movies around them, and succeed in big ways. If DC made real life versions of its animated movies people would flip out. Marvel has the Netflix shows that all basically fizzled out or had a bad season before being killed off before their time. And that's the bar they have to currently beat. The DCAU is significantly better than anything Marvel has done, but ultimately it just boils down to the characters. I like Superman, Batman, and Dick Grayson more than anyone in Marvel.
