California based Mattel have announced their plans to create a more INCLUSIVE range of barbie dolls for more diversity to go with their skinny barbie dolls with blonde hair and blonde kens as now there will be barbies with Vitiligo, black barbies and even black and ginger kens as well as a WHEELCHAIR BARBIE and BALD BARBIE!!

They said they want to provide a "multi-dimensional view of beauty and fashion" to represent global diversity and inclusivity

There will also be a Ken doll with LONG HAIR and a Barbie with a prosthetic leg to be rolled out this year as they hope these dolls will allow kids to play out even more stories in the world around them today

The prototype dolls was debuted on Barbie's instagram as it had the most liked post ever with 152,000+ likes.

It was inspired by teen activist, Jordan Reeves who is in a wheelchair herself and said she always thought dolls were a good way of kids to learn about disabilities

The bald barbie speaks to the trends of seeing bald models seen on the catwalk to the sidewalk and for those experiencing hair loss...

Ken Dolls are also getting more inclusive from complexion to colour and length of his hair

Mattel's campaign to be more inclusive is a welcome change to the global community as more people see the company evolving it's image.
