in a different homeless shelter, but this time i have a laptop and switch

last year i only had a tablet

This time last year I was single, depressed, drinking heavily most nights, anxiously awaiting mri scan results, in constant pain, living in a run down block of flats surrounded by drug dealers and neighbours that would harass me for money.

Now I'm in a happy healthy relationship, living in a quiet area with my partner, I'm no longer depressed, I don't drink much, I have quiet old people for neighbours, my mri results weren't too bad, I'm still in constant pain but it'll get resolved eventually.

So yeah, a lot better.

Much better, in January 2019 I had little disposable income and was in danger of being put on a jury for a murder trial

Better. Was freaking out over an illness last year and turns out I've just got it forever, but it isn't dangerous.

Tough to say I'd say over all better except my health isnt as good as it was last year this time.

Had surgery last year to get my apendix removed and have more serious back problems along with being less healthy overall than I was this time last year. Money wise I'm great my debt is paid off and I have a solid amount saved. Also im single now last year I was seeing someone.

Hopefully this year pans out better

Significantly better. I have the potential to earn 40k more this year, my old boss "left" and my new boss is much better, and I've taken over many of the responsibilities of my old boss.

As a result of the income I'm moving to a nicer place next month. I should be able to buy myself a nice mustang this year and get ahead of (or more so back to where I should be) on my student loans. Which when those are paid off opens up new possibilities

Better but not much has changed other than my car is paid off, I'm a homeowner, and I'm a full time employee now instead of a contractor

Those are big things generally but it's just those three things as the difference compared to last year. Same job different title (and I guess a nice pay bump of 22k compared to this time last year), moved to a different part of the same DC suburb, driving same vehicle.

I started a new job that has strong potential for promotions, but the the starting pay is only slightly higher than what I was making as a pizza delivery driver (made so much money off tips). And in contrast im working 55 hours a week compared to my 40 hours before.

Significantly better. The only real issue I have is my obesity is exasperating my foot condition.

Just remembered another way my life is better. I now have a cat.

Better. My life is always pretty good, but it's gotten better recently in a number of ways.

Better. I was in the process of dealing with insurance after someone totaled my car. The year got a lot better from there though, so there's still a lot to go.

Things just keep improving, hell I even got a little lazy for a few weeks.

Significantly worse compared to last year. Might improve drastically in a month, or might get even worse. Remains to be seen.
