I think video technology and computers have utterly destroyed my ability to read a book because I swear I cant get through more than a few pages if I try these days but when I was young I used to be able to speed read an entire book taking only a couple of seconds per page. Id basically look at the left page, then look at the right, then turn the page and do it over and over again until the book was done. I was reading so fast I didnt even really notice until someone asked me if I was actually reading the book or not. From my perspective I was watching a little video in my head and I didnt even really see the pages at all, but I completely comprehended what I read. --- Que sera, sera.
