I've seen it a few times, and I quite like it, but...classic?

I honestly want to know.

I've seen Hanna, Y Tu Mama Tambien and Groundhog Day about 40 times each. I like rewatching films.

Hanna isn't. Although I agree the others are considered classics.

It's a unique and powerful expression of grief in the film medium.

MC_BatCommander, I was honestly thinking of the frequent complaints I've gotten about that film, when writing that post. I'm glad you liked it.

It's not even closer to powerful. Certain Bergman films are reasonably powerful. Lars von Trier can sometimes be powerful. Those two directors played with pain, and enjoyed it. The guy behind Three Colours Blue was just some jerk, who made slightly entertaining films.

Oh right, I forgot I was talking to Sunhawk. I thought I was conversing with a human.

There are films that elicit a fairly strong emotional response from me. Cries and Whispers; Forrest Gump; Hanna; Dancer in the Dark; Dogville; Loving Vincent. Probably a few others. But not Three Colours Blue.

I'm not saying the Three Colours trilogy is bad, because I don't think it is, it just doesn't generate much emotion in me. Having said THAT, White got me more emotional than Blue. Look what the guy did to his ex-wife! Just look!
