Maybe two or three times in high school, by people who didn't know me.

In elementary school I was 'bullied' for all of fourth grade, but I later found out that the whole class was obsessed with the WWF and were just quoting/emulating shit they saw. That wasn't even really bullying, that was just the flavor of the time.

Not sure how to answer this poll. I was bullied constantly from 2nd grade til 4th, where I lost my shit and beat a kid down. It got less bad after that, but there was always some goober looking to talk a lot of shit without going far enough for a fight. Eventually I lost my shit on them too, and by 8th grade and beyond, people stopped fucking with me.

I'm sure I saw them/they saw me, but it was one of those situations where I have no idea who they were or what their problem was. It was just generic random shit like "hey look at this dude, I bet he's gay" or something like that.

I think people misunderstood me pretty bad in high school. One guy came up to me in gym class while we were playing baseball, so most of us were waiting in line to bat. He sat down by me at the fence and was like...

"Hey, man, I think you're pretty cool."

I was pretty confused. Turns out he was trying to make sure I didn't shoot up the school. It was hilarious actually. I appreciated the effort even though I wasn't crazy, just introverted.

90% verbal, occasionally physical.

Nah, I was (and still am) extremely quiet/reserved, so never really said anything.

Eventually it kind of fell off, and by senior year, I was on good terms with most of the school. Not sure if people just chilled out over time or what, but I could at least talk with a lot of the school and nobody really bullied me or anything.

A few former bullies actually friended me on Facebook and apologized a bit later on too.

Yeah. The quiet kid is an easy target I suppose. Not that I remember everything of what I did in school because it's been far too long.

Thankfully I graduated before shootings became a common occurrence.

I was 'challenged' by a bully in the 4th grade and years later by a different bully in the 8th grade. Both follwed a change in schools - and I was the new kid.

Hands were thrown even though I was no tough guy (I was skinny, athletic and bookish) . I guess I did well enough each time that I was otherwise left alone until HS when I got involved with sports and the in crowd.

I'd say the first fight was a draw. Just standing in with this guy was considered crazy I later learned. People literally said his name in hushed tones and he was a grade higher than me.

The second fight was a clear win for yours truly. Landed a sucker punch and pummeled the guy until we were separated. He was just a big kid who liked to throw his weight around. He never landed a punch. He came from a troubled family I later learned. Lots of alcoholism.

Yes, but it was literally just 1 person who had some kind of personal grudge against me and held it throughout all of middle/high school.

I never did figure out what his problem was, or why it was only me he had a problem with. Nobody else had any idea either, and a bunch of other kids would regularly take my side and tell him to fuck off. It was very weird and more confusing than traumatizing. But it was really annoying and he literally never gave up on it. :-/

well in kindergarden or 1st grade (i dont remember) this one kid kept making fun of me. i didn't like it so i asked my dad for help. he told me to fucking beat his ass

so one day on the play yard, he made fun of me so i hit him in the stomach. he never made fun of me again.

a football player tried to. would talk all kinds of shit and try to goad me into fighting him so he and his boys could stomp me. i don't really know why, i didn't do anything to him or even talk to him. he eventually got bored since i never responded or even acknowledged him.

I was kind of a bully til the 6th grade, then I became just passive so people took advantage of me. Senior year high school I finally started calling people out and got rid of that shit

Yes I was, physically. Being short, fat, and not being able to run very fast made me an easy target.

Yup, all the way until my freshmanor sophomore year in high school sadly. I've been picked on in class, jumped afterschool, jumped by random kids just walking to the store, jumped down the block in my own neighborhood.....and even jumped by those same kids on my own front porch. I wish I was joking about any of this

Maybe its becuse I had Asperger but I absolutely did not get along with any of my peers so I got into fights consistantly. Oddly enough though I never once though anything was wrong with me and it was everyone else who was f***ed up. This caused me to direct my emotions outward instead of inward which may have saved me from going down a very dark path and destroying myself.

All the time in elementary school, until I finally snapped and beat the everlasting **** out of one of the primary bullies in 6th grade.

Can't exactly remember what pushed me over the edge like that, but that stopped it completely. Years of mental torture, gone in a single day. Not being picked on for the first time in years was... liberating.

Lesson learned: If you're getting bullied at school(actual bullying like physical altercations or attempts to extort/steal from you), the only way to really stop it is to fight back, physically if needed. Show them it's not worth their time to mess with you. A lesson I'll make sure to teach my kids and tell them to not worry about any repercussions of. Dad will take care of the consequences, just don't permanently maim the other kid or something.

Only 1 time and it was some kid trying to impress some girls.

He must not have expected me to snap back on him but he apologized and explained it to me after I got in his face

Only for a short time in middle school, and by three certain people. I was a late bloomer puberty-wise, so I was a little skinny kid (that also happened to be mad nerdy...which was a far cry from the type of kids I grew up with around the neighborhood) that I guess was an easy target to them. This one kid used to try to get me to fight him but I ignored him, and this other kid used to flick my ears on the bus...I started getting sick of that, so I just took a bus set to myself and sat sideways in it, with my back facing the window. Used to give that kid glares so he backed off, lol.

By the time 9 grade came around, I was finally able to gain a little bit of muscle and my height shot up to like, 6 ft, so that was enough for that same exact dude that used to flick my ears to be like "yo, whats going on man?" etc. etc. Acting all friendly and whatnot.

This except they knew I had a bite. It was just weaker than theirs.

I had people try a couple times throughout my school years but I would simply punch the person in the face who tried so it stopped happening immediately.
