I think I was 17, it was a high school internship that worked more like a part time job and I ended up staying there for like 4 years. Pay was decent and it stopped being an internship when I graduated high school.

I got my first real part-time job around 18, but I had a part-time job as a soccer ref for my Township before that which I don't really count because it was only two or three games a weekend during soccer season.

14 or 15, bagger at a grocery store

I always worked with my Dad(who was in the grocery business) on some weekends before I got a legitimate job, as in a job with an actual paycheck. Always got paid in cash when I worked with him.

I first got on the books when I was 20, but been hustling since I was 9 or 10. I'd do every thing from sell candy to cut grass in the neighborhood for my SNES games lol. I would fix bikes and computers as a teen, but my friends started hustling in street pharmaceuticals, lmao. They made my hustles feel like I was doing too much for too little, lol.

I REALLY wanted medical benefits as I started looking towards the future, though. So I got my first tax paying job when I was 20 and decided I wasn't going anywhere without benefits if I could help it.

In adulthood I've added a few trade skills so I can always have a hustle to supplement my income. Carpentry and stuff. I need to get better as an auto mechanic though. I'll probably just take a course and get my certificate or something.

21 as well iirc. I have a bit of an excuse though. I got a decently sized legal settlement when I turned 18 from a car accident that happened when I was 9. I just used that money to coast for a few years.

Like 8 or 9. Wasn't a real job, obviously. I was mostly just there to make sure dad didn't hurt himself working alone, but I did move stuff around and whatnot too.

Was 12 when I first started working full-time. Also with dad. That was definitely a real job though.

Was 18 when I first worked for someone else.

13. I worked at the public library. I think pay was like $8.25 or around there when I started, and five years later when I moved on it was something like $9.50. Student minimum wage. The boss would fire people who asked for raises. Thankfully minimum wage kept going up. I really loved that job and still have dreams sometimes that Im working there.

14, dishwasher at a restaurant. I still work at the same restaurant actually, never had a different job, though I did get promoted to making salad and deserts, then to take out and making pizzas, then to line cook, and there I still am while also being kitchen manager twice a week.
