I hit them up, hang out, then ask for the money

I start hanging out again and eventually slip in that they owe me money

I'd only ask for the money if I was in serious need of it

Id wait patiently for them to acknowledge that they owe me money, silently judging them

I'd just let the money go

I only ever let people borrow money with the expectation of never seeing it again
