Jabodie 01/24/20 6:27:46 PM #1:	RIP MAN DAYS Beat it earlier today. Pretty fun and solidly put together, with a story I really enjoyed (and was really solid for a video game, imo). I can see why critics didn't like it. I feel like it's another Mad Max scenario. But if you try it, I'd try not to let the slow beginning hold you back. The story turns into something pretty fun/ interesting, and the gameplay improves as you get access to more options and better gear. But if you just aren't in the mood to play an open world game with fairly repetitive side missions and decent combat (with both zombies and humans), I would probably slip it. I feel like I didn't like Days Gone for the same reasons I didn't like Mad Max. So I'll agree with this. Both were games that felt like I played them before because they didn't attempt to change the formula at all. They just happened to not pick bad gameplay to piggyback on. There's nothing wrong with liking it. I use to love playing these types of games and would take them over most others. I just played too many at this point. Clearly since Sarah will work on a cure he will be heavily involved in a potential sequel. But then again I don't need a repeat of Deacon's arc from this game, so we'll see. Another thing I'd hope for in a sequel is more missions like the very opening, where you're riding with Boozer.
