Gobstoppers12 01/25/20 2:29:59 PM #15:	Overall it's a ~7/10 Lots of filler and low-budget episodes to pad out the length, though even some of those episodes were fun to watch. I'm glad they took their time and really made it into an epic, long-term story of survival. The occasional highlights were very cool, too. Higher-budget, well-animated fights nobody really expected, like Aniraza and Kefla, did a lot to make the longer run time worth it. The struggle to take down Jiren was epic, even though sometimes they mishandled Jiren's power scaling to fit the drama of the moment. At the end of the day, he was great as an unstoppable Juggernaut, a Recoome/Nappa style opponent we hadn't really seen since Namek. Having that kind of opponent as the main boss of the arc instead of a midway checkpoint was also cool. That meant that even Goku's efforts were stomped down hard at first, which was refreshing. All the parts of the ToP involving Jiren are closer to a 9/10, with the last stretch of 2-3 episodes making a pure and easy 10/10. --- I write Naruto Fanfiction.
