No lie I'll probably eventually get it too. Just waiting to see if Rayark updates it with more stuff or if each box of goodies is a separate fee. Knowing them, I could believe either!

in the end i see it as a new dlc pack of songs and skins with extra steps

i got the full unlock for the bundled price so i figured eh why not throw another $10

im probably done spending money on this game now tho

Yeah I did grab Miku but I'm definitely of the mind that I should try to avoid spending anything else on this game from here on. The value has been absolutely worth it thus far since I got all the characters via the bundle and now Miku on sale, but too much more and that scale will tip.

Helps to remember that at some point there will doubtless be a Switch version with all content available and no microtransactions, just like they've done with every other rhythm game in their library.

my suspicion for CAPSO is that they have player data showing low retention on song packs vs. character packs in terms of activity and are experimenting with delivering content. or maybe they're seeing what works and what doesn't for future titles. it seems like a bad proposition either way because it's just a song pack with some superficial add-ons to bump up the price to a character pack. having said that, I bought it right away and don't mind the gacha-lite system on level-ups

and yeah this is the first time Miku is on sale. she's only available for about 4 more months so anyone on the fence should jump on in case it doesn't go on sale again.

True - story appears to be reaching its final lap with 3.0 but I doubt it's ending before another year at least, and no way will they even start on a port before that's done. Plus there will be tons more content even after the story is done based on their other games.

AFAIK though DEEMO and Voez had more content after their Switch versions came out and it was just patched in for free - though at least in Voez's case I've heard it's not exactly done in a speedy manner. Only barely started with DEEMO on Switch recently so I can't confirm.
