I've been on a binge of 2007-2008 WWE/TNA because that's when I discovered wrestling at ten years old. Also some classic stuff I rewatched 1,000 times in those DVD sets everyone used to buy that WWE put out. And from the old "On-demand" service where basically my dad overpaid to give us access to some cool matches for an afternoon.

I never much cared for wrestling but

Watching a 8 hour docu on the best of The Rock fights and trash talking was so hype

So I could dig some content like that

The last year or two of WCW, I know it's mostly trash but it was my first exposure to wrestling

80s and 90s. 80s for the characters that were out there. Some people like ultimate warrior and macho man obviously poured alot of time and effort into their characters to be out there like living cartoons.

The late 90s 97-99 for the edginess of it. They went complete Jerry Springer with it but stone cold and the rock were the biggest superstars wrestling ever had, even surpassing the 80s.stuff. Now it's just a bunch of bullshit.

like 88-92 WCW is the stuff that is kind of magical for me because it was my first exposure when i was a little kid. around the neighborhood kid that had satellite (lived in the boondocks and cable wasnt available) moved in 92 or 93.

We then got dish in '96 and I became a WCW addict again. I watched a bit of WWF/E but it never really struck me the same way. 96-98 WCW is my favorite era but it isn't magical like 88-92.

Early to mid 80s. It's what I most fondly remember watching when I was young.

Never really watched it. But I had action figures and stuff. And I appreciated the interesting characters from the 80s. Modern wrestlers are just random strong people with no character

90s, up until early 00s. Hell in a Cell '98 was the absolute pinnacle for me.

Multiple periods; even ones I didn't experience firsthand.

I have some fondness for 60s and 70s wrestling although matches are difficult to find. I have a lot of nostalgia for the Hulkamania era of the WWE in the 1980s and again for the Attitude Era within the same company. And WCW was great (or at least very good with a couple of misses here and there) during the nWo era.

There's not much I'm excited about after the fall of WCW. Good matches, sure, but the overall magic seemed to be gone. The tone and writing quality never again matched what it was when the WWE had competition.

Mid-00s ROH and Chikara, easily. Those were fucking great times as a wrestling fan. Of course, our shithole country's banking-induced depression killed that right quick, along with most other good things.
