Great Club is probably the best STR weapon for PvE, but it's ugly as hell and doesn't work with Fashion Souls. I would say the Exile Greatsword over Great Club if fashion becomes an issue down the road.

Great club + masters set makes for a great barbarian fashion set up. Cornyx's set isn't a bad match up either

Also, it's kinda boring, but if you get a Lothric Knight Sword, it scales at an A with strength after using a heavy gem. You can get a lot of mileage out of it

In other news, played DS3 for the first time in a while as a summoned spirit just now and spent 10 minutes chasing an invader while he had a cat ring on and would run whenever I got a hit in. Dude even ran after I got frustrated and parried, usually they'd be on your ass after that to punish panic rolls

The host didn't even try to join the fight until 5 minutes of that Joestar family technique, so the invader couldn't complain about gank squads.

Great game but a reminder how the community can be annoying af

I'm playing a STR build in this game right now. I have a gotten a lot of mileage out of the Spiked Mace, it drops from the big evangelist women. It interrupts many creatures though I may need to find something else because this ice area I'm in has huge people like Anor Londo that don't seem to give a shit.

I miss how disgustingly good the Zweihander was, like in DaS1.

Swapped back to Claymore, doesnt wack shit as hard but the faster attack speed/lower stamina consumption puts it above the the Big Boi Knife for me
