Scotland voted to remain last time around. Scotland voted overwhelmingly to remain in the EU and now feel that they're being betrayed by Westminster as Brexit goes through. There seems to be enough will for independence winning a second referendum now too.

Salmond already promised it was once in a generation, so of course Bojo would deny it. Wait 15 years between referendums like Quebec did.

It's hardly a "betrayal" though, as the UK did vote for Brexit.

They should still be allowed another vote though, given a large part of why they voted to stay before was the EU connection and things have now drastically changed. Trying to use the "oh it was done recently, they should wait longer or people will just want to keep revoting to get the answer they want" is the dishonest crap politcians all too readily peddle.
