That would be badass. Imagine what kinds of abilities she could have with her magic.

She could be given the same athleticism Link had in BotW. But it'd be cool if she had like... Alteration and Illusion magic from Elder Scrolls, as opposed to Link's more brute-force magic abilities.

It'd be a cool way to play a Zelda game, man. I hope they do it.

If we could switch between both that would be sweet.

Canonically, shouldn't Zelda be more powerful than Link? She seems to always have incredible powers, but she always gets captured by Ganon, so she doesn't really get to use them until it's time to deliver the final blow for Ganon. Or I think in BotW, she had been holding Ganon back with her power for 100 years.

I'll be fine with it as long as it doesn't involve a certain wand from the Gamelon region.

It'd be kinda cool if she could pull a Smash Bros. and switch between her princess and Sheikah forms, accessing different powers and abilities depending on her persona. And requiring to alternate between identities depending on plot/circumstance.

I'm all-in on the theory that it's going to be Link, Zelda, and Ganon facing off against the hatred left by Demise.

It would solve one of the criticisms of BotW that over world enemies are repetitive because they all have to be able to use Links weapons. They can do away with usable weapons entirely and give Zelda a magic combat system

Omg, this so much. MM already paved the way somewhat with transformation masks, so i'd imagine it'd be similar to that.

Yeah, the tl;dw of the video I watched is that WW Ganondorf acts like he's accepted his role in things: he will try to do evil and he will lose. He can do nothing else because he's been cursed with Demise's hatred. Him being sealed in the BotW2 trailer for ten thousand years gives him time to reflect on this while also weakening that curse, letting Demise's hatred escape into the world as Malice.

A Ganondorf who no longer wants to do evil but is still connected to that Malice would be a great plotline.
