This might be old news, but I never heard it before. It was a totally made up thing with no help from GRRM. Was set 8,000 years prior to GOT.

Apparently HBO thought it was crap and canned it.

However, thankfully they are moving forward with a different prequel series based on the Fire and Blood book. Better than nothing I guess.

It will hit the small screen in 2022.
