I had the one that c as me with Championship Edition Blanka and Chun Li. I must have broke the vehicle right away cause I dont remember it at all.

Also had an E. Honda and Ryu figure I think. Dont remember if they came with a vehicle or not.

wut

Do people really not know what the E stood for?

I think they did that cause of the movie though. The toys were meant to be a movie tie in (hence being bundled with the GI Joe line) even tho the commercial aped the videogame music and visuals

Toy commercials in the 80s and 90s were animated, half hour long, and shown on Saturday mornings for 5 hours.

Capcom chose to tie the toyline into GI Joe because the film was military themed.

Believe it or not Capcom had 100% control over the film cause they financed it and requested it be written as a military adventure instead of a martial arts tournament film

Edit: You can also see this in the 90s cartoon which kept the video game designs but was more of a military GI Joe style cartoon. it's really strange now where Capcom was looking to go with Street Fighter when it was still fairly new.
