UFC in the beginning all you had to do was claim "I'm undefeated!" and they'd let anybody (Jon Hess) in. Nowadays I would say it's much harder. Probably start at the amateur level and work your way up. Even a world class wrestler like Askren took years of fighting in other organizations before he made it. Even guys who literally hand things handed to them like Brock had to prove themselves elsewhere before making it.

WWE you'd probably have to do steroids as Vince has a hard on for big guys. Every once in while you'll get a guy like X-pac or CM Punk but again you have to pay your dues for many years making almost no money.

There are low tier UFC events that are easier to get in. Don't know what it would take to become like Brock Lesnar or something.

From the sounds of it, you both agree that there is a higher chance of making it to UFC? I think I feel the same way. In UFC if you win your local promotion championship, which takes about 4 fights ish, you can go professional with one of the small professional promotions throughout the country like Bellator. And if you win the championship at a small professional promotion then you get a ticket to UFC.

With wrestling, you could potentially be on the road doing small local shows for a decade and never get a ticket to UFC? It seems like UFC is more ideal. Idk.

WWE.

For WWE its pretty much be pretty, buff, and somewhat athletic. Rarely do you have to be the "best". As long as you got a good look and can form sentences you have a chance

UFC is the top percentile of a sport.

Assuming your actually talented or you as an average joe? Talent in wrestling doesn't guarantee a trip to wwe. You need a certain amount of luck and politicing. Anyone who has watched wwe has watched talented people get set aside because Vince has some stupid vendetta or just hates that rhe crowd doesn't like who he wants. Which conversely means as a regular person your chances are higher, because luck is a bigger factor. And social skills are important.

UFC's actual talent will surface eventually as you keep winning. And if you lack talent you can't go anywhere unless you were already famous like cm punk.

The big difference is WWE isn't merit based, whereas UFC is, so if you're good you can make it lol.
