On Windows? The Microsoft Store. I don't use anything on there.

For most users, nothing. Windows software is a little more wild west. It's not gathered into one place, but it's easier for developers to publish since there's not a single entity curating content. I like it, you can find a lot of indie and hobby projects that might not be published otherwise.

Are you looking to buy apps, games, movie rentals? Games, look at Good Old Games or Steam. Applications, you'd be better served by opening a search engine and going directly to the publisher (Adobe for Photoshop, etc). There is plenty of free software that is just as good, or in some cases better, than paid versions.

I don't think I've ever used an app store on Windows. It doesn't really work that way.
