a kid. My older sister has been married for 9 years and she has 3 kids. My brother had a kid with his fiance two years ago but is just now proposing to her. I can't wait for all the "Now it's your turn" jokes from my aunts.

As a Christmas gift to my mom, my soon to be sister-in-law set up family photos for us, which I'm not looking forward to. She was saying she wants to do everyone with their significant others and then ones with the separate little families (e.g. My sister, her husband and her three kids). This is really going to suck for me, I'm going to feel so awkward showing up alone.

Christmas itself was bad enough, I felt like such an outcast but at least this is really going to be humiliating, I think.

It's on a Saturday evening, I work 1st shift, and we were notified well in advance when the pictures were going to be taken. I wish i could use that excuse but it wouldn't work.

They love to find all the reasons that you're a "failure" and grill you over and over about them when they're even less successful than you are, they just happened to find someone who would put up with their crap and act nice in public

Mine have literally never done that, they've been supportive of me all my life, even when I went a few months struggling to find a job.

that photo thing sounds like a shit idea. they either are trying to pressure you into finding someone, or they just didn't think about how it's gonna look when your photo is taken. usually people with relationships forget what it's like for people not in them

Do you have a pet?

There's a pretty good chance that at least one of them will get divorced. Then you get the last laugh. This is a situation where patience pays off.
