The daughter's mother, who does not have custody of the teen, says the girl and dogs are now living with Damon Becnel's best friend. She says the Department of Child Services' safety plan allowed Becnel to determine who would have custody of the teen while he was in jail.

The mother is fighting to have this changed.

It sounds like he has friends in the necessary places to get away with this.

-He designated his best friend to look after her; her mother does not have custody, and given the above, I can only imagine why (though maybe she was also a screw-up at the time).

Dogs are pretty dumb, and aggressively yelling at one for taking a defensive action is just going to escalate. If the dude wasn't treating the dogs like shit, the dog wouldn't have been skittish and snippy.

The dog was sort of being playful and doing the cute playful paw thing right before this ***** started beating him up, it breaks me heart, it really does.

Then this jackass did the whole "WWE badass intimidation" thing on his own daughter right after beating the shit out of her, what a piece of shit.

Towards the end he says "you're gonna fight me? huh? Who'd win?" at her, A FUCKING CHILD, what a coward. Guess what will happen when you're 80 and she's in her 30s? I hope she remembers this and turns the tables on his "you're gonna fight me? Who'd win?" bullshit.

Man, I feel so bad for the dog and girl :(

Plenty of people make the easy argument to "report him to the police" after hearing of an assault, whether sexual or otherwise. Hope they can read about this and understand that sometimes just reporting a guy to the police doesn't work, even when it's a 14 year old girl and her mother doing the reporting.

Claims like these are, sadly, almost universally ignored without hard proof like this video. Why do you really think people frequently wait years, or even decades, to report abuse? It's really pathetic, but the majority of the time it's the victims who get the least support from family and/or the community.
