ith air quality level deteriorating in the Victorian capital, Melbourne caused due to the bushfires has tremendously effected the tennis professionals. The tennis players are certainly risking their health by playing at Melbourne Park for the Australian Open 2020.

Awful conditions at the Australian Open 2020
On Tuesday, the smoky conditions forced the delay in the qualifying match of the Melbourne major. The practice sessions of certain players were also halted. One of the qualifiers from the WTA Tour, Dalila Jakupovic was also forced to abandon her match. That was quite disheartening to see her situation on Melbournes court. She was not able to continue the play as she kept coughing due to the smoky blanket above her.
