Or at least, that's how it seems. You hear people cite "bad" sales figures, and say other negative stuff, but I suspect that the majority of people who own the XBox One have had a lot of fun with it. The games, the online gaming, 4k graphics, etc.

Do you think this is accurate?

Well...yeah. I felt stupid saying that part of the post. But, MS people love Call of Duty, Halo, Battlefield, GeOW, and so on and so forth. You cannot deny that.

It's not the 90s anymore. Vector and 3D graphics mean resolutions are easily adjustable, and I would be shocked if anything designed to run a home OS doesn't use an x86-based architecture, and they've been copying each other at both a hardware and software level for almost 15 years, not to mention features like an app store and specific common apps have become standard on everything from TVs to cell phones. Barring major technical issues like RRoD or whatever, I can't imagine the Xbox and Playstation lines are really all that different these days, aside from exclusive titles.

So yeah, I would find it perfectly believable that Xbone owners are generally happy with their system. I dunno why console wars on the Internet would lead anyone to believe otherwise.

I made a console jump from PS4 to Xbox One X in 2017 and I regret nothing. If you told me that would happen at the beginning of this gen I wouldve probably laughed at you

Sony has had these little issues that were piling up for me and Xbox addressed them wonderfully. Funny enough, many of the things I wanted them to changed happened AFTER I switched (name changing, no minimum to add to your PSN wallet, crossplay, etc) but I'm too happy with Xbox to switch back.

I'm at a point now where I simply want the best possible experience on a console, and Xbox got their shit together in a spectacular way. Game Pass is game changing.

I still have my PS4 Pro for exclusives, but I probably won't get the PS5 anytime soon.

I have a couple of friends that own an Xbox One. Neither of them have played it in years and both of them have offered to give it to me for free.
