To be fair, though, that might have more to do with the glaring need on TV for an actual Star Trek than anything else. He's a very uncharismatic lead, and I could do without the fart jokes in my Star Trek. But it does feel lovingly crafted in the image of the original, you got to love it if you enjoyed real Star Trek. Eh.
