I thought to try skyrim but I had no luck with finding modded shots, not as plainly obvious as with morrowind at least. it just seems odd there's no rule against screenshots containing mods in submissions. I guess because it would be too difficult to differentiate if a mod makes a minor adjustment like with

To recollection there is a rule against it, barring the use of translation patches. Of course it's not always obvious to whoever is looking at them.

@ZoopSoul is the guy who handles screenshot submissions these days. If I'm remembering wrong, he'd know

I get that, but depending on how old the rule for modded content is there's stuff I thought would've been incredibly obvious modded content (dragons in morrowind for example, there's various examples of modded content in oblivion's user submitted images as well). I'm not trying to poke holes in gamfaqs, honest, I look at it as more of a curiosity seeing how no one goes to goes user submitted images on here for a resource of images. seeing how there's literally one guy doing all the work for it definitely makes it understandable.

Appreciate the interest. I agree, actually, and think that we should lax off on the modded shots since modding these days is so widespread. If you want to add some, go for it! Make sure they're actually good screenshots without any window borders or FPS ticking up, etc... That's my main concern, truthfully. It's not the kind of thing that I will shake a finger at unless it's obscene or infringes on copyrights.

minecraft has lods of what you just listed as looking for in exclusion. of course minecraft did not have a very typical development at all. I didn't scan the images so intensely as to say for sure but there definitely seems to be pictures from before the "official release," seeing how there are images of what I'm guessing to be the item duplication glitch which was semi-infamously still possible after official release. of course there's mods too amongst minecraft screenshots but not as many as I thought there'd be
looking at user screenshots for minecraft does leave me wondering what the policy, if any, on visible usernames.
