after rereading it I did not mean to imply what I hope no one took from it. seeing a cats remains up to display (like calico jack's remains), irregardless of realness, is something I never want to imply upon the world in any context.

however that won't stop me from being made that the only context I could find for a (cat) calico jack being in somewhat popular fiction is in octonauts.
