I think Pep Boys is the only one saying they will while the others say they might if theyre feeling nice. Weirs. I thought it was a very standard service.

I'm sure you can find a YouTube to help you do it yourself. It can be easy or tricky, but it's not usually difficult.

They all say "maybe". Ill check a near auto zone and do it myself if they wont. Back in the day they really wanted your service so they made a bigger deal about doing it. Now they dont care too much if you get your headlight there or somewhere else.

If its just the bulb do it yourself I have one important tip.Do not touch the bulb with your bare hands, the grease from your skin will cause it to burn out.

Gee, its so easy you can fuck it up pretty easy. Just saying, thats the whole point of someone knowing what the hell theyre doing to do it.

One video had me taking out taking out the casing while the other said i didnt need to.

The maybe is because it depends on the car. Theyll do it for free if its a car where they can just pop the hood and access the lights without having to take anything else apart

Well my car, on its passenger side, should work just fine. The battery covers the drivers side.

Every pep boys I've ever been to charges to install light bulbs.

There's a disconnect between retail and service though. Sometimes retail thinks service will do things for free when they won't. They are two separate entities with two separate managers and two completely different staffs

O'Reilly will, as long as it's not too hard or time consuming. If it's one of those bullshit cars that require you to remove the assembly or pull the wheel well liner down to reach it, hell no.
