consider weak AF.

Like Signs builds in Witcher 3. Go between hearing it's so OP it ruins the game and that it's weak AF.

And the Gourmet skill. Ruins the game completely it's so OP and also hear it is useless.

Never know what to trust these days. Stupid internet!

The signs build was really OP and then got nerfed. Maybe you're reading stuff that's out of date?

This, I believe Gourmet was also bad untill B&W changed it, or maybe it added it? At launch no general skill was worth using but they changed it eventually.

It may also depend on playstyles. There are definitely builds in some games that would be OP, but because of how you play, you may fail to take advantage of most of the benefits and it winds up being effectively gimped for you (like, for instance, a build that revolves around dodging when you mostly play games hack-and-slash melee spam, or something that rewards precision headshots when you mostly spray-and-pray).

Some builds will compliment your normal playstyle and feel overpowered because you're maximizing its effectiveness. For someone else, who plays very differently, that same build may feel weak because it conflicts with how they normally play and they're not getting most of the benefits out of it they should be.
