Different characters, different mechanics, different tone, all that jazz. Basically has nothing to do with the existing games except the basic idea of genetic memory. Hell, it can even drop Asses and Templars for all I care.

So some mad scientist/megacorp/whatever reasons that if we can see our past via our DNA, our descendants can see our future. So he hijacks some DNA database and uses a supercomputer to simulate everyone breeding with their most likely mates (based on geography, profession, interests, etc) and finds a gajillion possible future DNA pools, weeds out the ones that are self-contradictory and determines a couple of what appear to be the most possible "Punnett futures."

Then he starts forcing people to breed in order to bring about the future he wants and...

Ok I just realized this game is a dating sim and suddenly I hate it.
