I dunno about you guys but the confidence needed to talk to your partner that you don't want 'normal missionary sex' and would like something specific is the scariest conversation with a person you love. Not sure if its cause you feel shame, or afraid of judgement from a person you love, rejection getting called out or something. Holy shit its scary.

Easiest way I've found to approach the subject is by talking about what kind of porn you both watch, and going from there. It's much easier to say "I've seen anal done in porn before, and have always wanted to try it", than "I'd like to fuck you in the ass then spit into your gaping hole".
