Hopefully its just a bluff and he is purposely using the past few days to support his willingness to follow through but actually has no intention of doing so.

Generally people have to follow through with acts at some point or threats don't really work. He just acted in a way that shocked everyone including the Iranians. However, this assumes that Trump and his admin know what they are doing which, though possible, seems unlikely at this point.

What part of any of this war crimes? It's "tit for tat" style tactics. If Iran or an Iranian backed militia attack American targets, the US will retaliate. What about that makes it a war crime?

The most straight forward is the part about targeting cites that are important to Iranian culture. Even when engaged in a "legal" war you can't target cultural cites for attacks. Its like targeting civilians.

The United States is in fact a signatory to and has ratified the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property and a signatory to AP I.

It makes strategical sense. The goal is to fracture Iranian national unity and dissolve the country into the same chaotic civil war state Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan are already in. This will lead to never-ending war, which means never-ending profits.

This. He probably got a briefing about potential American responses to an Iranian move and was told that we have 52 targets that will inflict the most damaging immediate impact. He turned that into the rambling mess where he just writes random adjectives and pukes out a tweet.

It's also a threat not an admission. Threatening the use of force isn't new, isn't a war crime, and can be a very powerful tool.

Your whole post began with you assuming Trump is gonna to blowup cultural sites. He never said cultural sites. So, again, who has the reading problem?

Or is your next post gonna be about how culture=cultural sites? LOL. Last time I checked Iran has plenty of military bases that are of cultural significance, just like every country in the world.
