Vicious_Dios 01/04/20 12:09:30 PM #2:	People are already idiots when driving grounded vehicles. Are you prepared to have morons crashing onto you from above? How many irresponsible drivers drive long distances on an 1/8 tank of gas only to run out on a busy road? Not to mention the fact that you'll need a pilot's license to go with your driver's, and a good chunk of people already don't have either one or even liability insurance. DevsBro 01/04/20 1:43:34 PM #10:	The thing about flying cars isn't that the tech is hard to figure out or whatever. It's that they're just a stupid idea to begin with. Gas prices are high enough without automobile consumption rates being multiple times what they are now. Collisions and breakdowns will be much more commonly fatal. They're more complicated to operate and as a result people are going to make more mistakes too, so not only are collisions more dangerous, but they're more common too. And you're no longer safe as a pedestrian even on the 100th floor of a skyscraper. Plus, what is even the benefit? You're still going to start and end on the ground.
