Damn, that was a pretty good fucking movie. Really good feels with this. Probably the best we've ever gotten from Rian Johnson despite me really not liking TLJ at all and thinking he really fucked it up.
The ending explanation by Benoit Blanc got a little wonky, but every character was a treat. The family was amazing tbh. Really enjoyed both Jamie Lee and Michael Shannon. As well as Craig and Laketh. Ana was beautiful as always. Overall, I'm gonna give this a solid 8-9. Yes. Went in more or less totally blind (I knew the cast but I hadn't even seen a trailer) and loved it.

It was enjoyable. Probably 6/10. Some dumb bits here and there but Craig stole the show and made it worth watching.

i didn't like how the whodunnit stops (maybe not even)halfway through the movie especially since the whole family more or less becomes irrelevant from that moment on and because of this, the final revelation also feels tacked on.
anyways i really like how captain america was made to be as dickish as possible which was probably a very conscious choice in order to separate him from cap altogether. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I kept thinking Michael Shannon was Mark Hamill.Lol, the whole movie? They look nothing a like. Though, I'm not sure if anybody noticed, but Alan the will lawyer was Frank Oz. Aka motherfucking Yoda. I too was trying to figure the weirdness with Craig's accent, but eventually, he ended up sticking out as one of the best. PatrickMahomes posted... If you like arrested developmentI read the title of the thread before watching it and yeah, there were some similarities between the families. Parappa09 posted... i always laugh when people say this. as if he went into making TLJ intentionally to make a bad film, and that he lives to piss off the SW fanbaseIntentionally a bad movie? No. But have you seen the commentary version of TLJ? He pretty much states that he wanted to do his own thing and it be as divisive as possible. Didn't matter what fans thought. A lot of the scenes are explained away as "I was trying to have some fun" and "I just thought Kathy would love this/laugh at this scene." AsucaHayashi posted... i didn't like how the whodunnit stops (maybe not even)halfway through the movie especially since the whole family more or less becomes irrelevant from that moment on and because of this, the final revelation also feels tacked on.I think that was the beauty. I figured we're gonna spend the whole movie finding out who and they just dropped it on you that it was Marta. They definitely did a great job with Cap, but you're right, all that minimized the role of the family towards the second half. The family was one of the best parts. --- "It lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge" ... Copied to Clipboard!
