The big reveal-- ~~that Benedict Cumberbatch was actually playing Kahn~~ didn't matter since none of the characters had ever met him before. It was blatant pandering-- you could practically feel the 4th wall falling as if Abrams was like "Hey isn't this cool?" Fuck that piece of garbage.
