Current Events > I finally started the Chimera Ant arc on HxH.

Heres to hoping its as good as Ive heard! The show so far I havent been the biggest fan of. Feel that its just decent, not great. But Ive heard this arc is absolutely amazing, so Im a little excited.

It's basically namek arc on steroids. Drawn out and the narrator keeps droning on and on until any impact goes away.

Yorknew City is probably the best pure Shonen arc I've seen in anime

The Chimera Ant arc starts off good, gets very slow in the middle and then after a few episodes becomes amazing right up until the very end

but if you havn't liked the rest of the show you may not like the chimera ant arc. It's more of the same just better and darker

Its not that I disliked it, its just that Im not crazy about it. The arc focusing on Kurapika was the most interesting to me, just because I find him way more interesting than Gon.

I found Gon to be more interesting in the Chimera Ant arc as well. You won't notice it right away but later on you might appreciate him more.
