I dont feel the need to constantly be hanging out with people, or to be in a relationship. I genuinely enjoy being by myself most of the time.

For work I teach and am around people CONSTANTLY. Having to talk and interact with students and coworkers all day makes me socially exhausted, so when Im not working...I love to be alone honestly.

Yet, doing things solo still seems to be stigmatized. Seeing a movie alone? Weirdo. Taking a solo vacation once or twice a year? Strange.

I hate the idea that society seems to think life is always enjoyed better with others. I dont think thats true. The freedom to be able to make your own decisions and not have to wait on someone else to decide is enough for me, honestly.
