Managed to get to the last round of challenge 1 after five tries or so but I got killed pretty quickly thereafter, lol.

Ah so close.

I got one of the Romanovs down but then the other shot me so I lost my boost gauge, which of course against a bogey means you're history.

Finally got it.

It was a dramatic finale, lol. I ran out of ammo for everything against the bogey when it was almost dead, and dove around the map looking for another weapon, found a... Lock-on laser? Welp, probably my least favorite weapon, but it's better than nothin'! A couple AR mode shots and he was dead.

His health was low enough that I considered just meleeing him but I didn't want to have miscalculated and him still have a wee bit of health left while I was overheated and almost certain to die. After all, that was exactly how I lost the previous attempt, lol.

On to challenge 2!

I dunno if I just got lucky or what but challenge 2 wasn't that bad. I finished it and was waiting for the next round, lol. I didn't even use the rocket launcher. Granted, it did take me a good ten or so tries, but there were encounters in the story that took that much.

Speaking of, the hardest difficulty of story mode is no joke either. I'm on 1-7, and just the first part with the three big missile Romanovs is massacring me.

I think the only thing keep me away from a platinum is the last challenge, but I havent even attempted it yet. The others werent too crazy, but I heard the last one was.

I heard great things about that game, and I thought the premise was interesting, but for some reason it just didn't hook me and I found the whole experience pretty underwhelming

Though it's a lot of fun IMO, I did notice that the more unique mechanics are sadly underutilized. Most of the time it plays just like a well-executed but not particularly unique third-person cover shooter.

Of course, the setpieces are killer so I was cool with it once I got a couple chapters in.

The last challenge made me give up on getting the last trophy and the platinum. It can be such bullshit sometimes.

Ok so Challenge 3 starts with a swarm of those roller skating shotgun melee effers and is, as a result, 100% impossible.

Looks like the allies can actually handle the blue skaters relatively well. I've gotten through the first two rounds just by relying on my allies stealing all the aggro and shooting anything that gets curious lol.

lol got past the whole thing first time I got past round 1.

Unknown had me scared but I saved the walkers for the buzzard and do not regret it.

Took 25 minutes though lol.

Jeez did I date Mission 4 in middle school or something? This thing wants my blood and will not relent.

The bif missile romanovs suck in general, but it's especially irksome that they paired them with those effers who will melee you twice in a row and instakill you.

Well going back to story mode for a sec, I at least managed to get about half a percent of Bogey's health down before dying this time so that's something.

I think his giant instakill laser might be undodgeable...

Ok no, I don't have a lifetime to spend trying to fight this thing. It's not required for plat anyway.
