I was on the FF8 board earlier this year and I was arguing with the community about Squall's personality. The Squall fanboys were so mad I said Squall is an anti-social respected loner. I mean that's exactly what he is. He's literally a teenager who personifies the typical angst anti-social respected loner personality. I mean there's no other nicer way of calling it what it is.

Maybe a task-oriented guy who's too serious in a world where everyone around him is a clown? Even then that's a bad outlook LMAO.

I made this account when I was a teenager lol. His appeal wasn't so much about angst or being "respected". It's that he is good at what he does and is a bit of a rebel while doing it. It's the same reason why anti-heroes like Batman are popular.

I dunno bro. The key difference here is Squall is literally a tennager. What he feels and knows is just kiddish shit if you ask me.
