6. When in doubt, don't take it. I thought I needed a new bike, and took it on my way back to the apartment. When I got there, there was no way I could fix it, so I threw it out and went back to my old bike. Some guy tried to kick me off the bike, but I used it as a barricade between him and me

7. Some laws are more fair than others. Riding your bike against traffic is not very safe, especially if you have a flat tire or bike in the middle of the road. I'm not saying you have to ride like that, you could ride well into a lane, it would be awesome. If you are forced to ride into the middle of the road, that can be dangerous. If there are speed signs, slow down a bit to check them out.
