Divinity OS2 is one of the best games I've ever played. It's almost ruined most other CRPGS for me.

Witcher 3 is great but not nearly as good as Divinity, and I say that as a big fan of Witcher who's read all the books and played all the games.

But you can't go wrong with either.

As somebody who has only played The Witcher 3, I would definitely recommend Divinity.

Divinity 2.

A nice and simple broken build would be to go elf necromancer with elemental affinity. Elf is probably the race you should pick anyways simply because of how sweet their racial ability is.

Tough call. I would say it depends if you like ARPG or CRPGs better. Also Divinity is turn based while The Witcher isn't. I'm currently playing through Divinity 2 right now and I'm enjoying it. The Witcher with all it's DLC though would be my preference.
