She eats dog food multiple times a day
But then she'll go outside to shit and then IMMEDIATELY EAT HER OWN SHIT or our other dog's shit like two seconds after it hits the ground I don't get it She's done this for years On the bright side we never have to pick up poop outside --- "I like turtles" ... Copied to Clipboard!

Not sure? Maybe she's constantly hungry which could be a problem. Or it's a habit she formed.

The fun thing about dogs is that it could literally be anything. They could just be bored or they could have worms. Fun!

Gut microbiome imbalance, or a nutritional and/or enzyme deficiency caused by low quality dog food. I would try a different dog food to see if that alleviates their behavior. A few times per calendar year is normal, but constantly engaging in coprophagia is a sign that a visit to the vet may be needed to determine the cause, but it may just be a habit at this point and you just need to keep the dog on a leash to stop them when they try to eat poop.
