Beer tastes amazing, but you have to find the type of beer that fits your taste. Luckily we live in the golden age of beer so you'll be spoiled for choice once you find that type.

Getting a good buzz on is just a bonus.

If you find a good beer it's delicious.

I never really drank it for drunkenness unless it was in a group. Way more efficient to drink spirits.

There's thousands of brands and varieties, some are better than others. Think about it like candy, some people like chocolate, some people like sour, some people like sweet. There's a kind and flavor for everyone.

It is an acquired taste though for sure, rarely do people like it the first time they try it, but they also tend to try very standard, domestic stuff that isn't really all that complex or flavorful. A lot write it off immediately and say "oh gross, it's bitter" but that's legitimately like trying one vegetable and saying all vegetables suck. You need to figure out what appeals to you.

The getting drunk thing is a big draw also.
