after going up about $15 mysteriously a few months ago...that's $22 dollars in about a 6 month span. It's just a bunch of "service fees," and "maintenance chargers," that are going up too. At this rate, I may have to start looking for another service provider, which thankfully, I have options around here.

Yeah, I'd get a quote from another company. If you get an offer that is a lower price than what you're paying, you can probably call your company to cancel saying that you can get a better deal, and there's a decent chance they'll lower the bill. That way you don't have to deal with any hassle switching providers.

if it just your internet or your cell phone? I know that virgin used to fuck me over with my cell bill by turning on my data every time they had an "update" despite me being connected to my wifi at home. End of month bill came and was over a hundred dollars. Got it reverted really quickly and put a perma lock on the data as I never used it anyways, but they still charged me an extra dollar a month for that lock, which imo was bullshit.

Used to have that problem with I was with Cox Communications. From month to month I never knew what my bill was going to be. After about 18 months I switched.

Does this actually work? I thought rates were pretty set in stone. Didn't know you could negotiate internet rates lol.

And it's just my inetnet and cable, not cell phone. I made a post on their online forums, but it's mainly a lot of people shilling for the service. I just hate calling into customer support, nor do I really want to rag on the service rep who is just doing their job. I'll start looking around.

I just wish you know, they would have let me know these raises were coming I guess
