2nd book is by far the best out of all 7. It's easily superior to TLW.

The first story in Sword of Destiny is my favorite Witcher story. I've listened to it at least 5 times.

The ending of the book is sooo good. Masterfully done, and gets better each time you read it. It nearly brought a tear to my eye on the 3rd listen.

Also, if you continue to read/listen after SoD, prepare for a decrease in quality. The story starts following different characters that aren't as interesting as the main protagonists. There is still plenty to enjoy though, so don't listen to people who tell you they're trash.

Ciri's story is freakin' incredible, especially in Tower of the Swallow. I keep saying she's the real protagonist of the series. Her sections in that book caused me to listen to it a 2nd time, even though I had only listened to all the other books that came after SoD once.

yeah i just kinda like the world so i dont mind it not following our main heroes

but yeah im excited for ciri most of all. i didn't really play witcher 1 and 2 so i jumped into 3 and the whole story with her was great considered everything else is war drama so
