Board 8 > I experienced a first in Snowboard Kids 2 after 20 years and thousands of races

I have never seen someone use a bomb that nailed all four snowboarders. It happened on Snowboard Street as we entered the area in front of Linda's Mansion. We were all bunched up together, and Tommy just blasted me, himself, and the other two AI. I didn't think that I could be surprised in that game any longer as my second-most played N64 game, so that was cool to experience at the end of my annual Christmas Eve/Christmas morning N64 racing game marathon.

As one of the other like 4 people on this board who've played the game, that's pretty cool. Not sure if I've ever seen it happen before. But I'm usually ahead of everyone by a decent amount. Enough to inspire FEAR in my fellow players when they hear "LINDA"

This was on the first lap, and as you well know, the location is in the first third of the course, so there wasn't really time to distance myself from the pack.

Also, are you positive that Atlus owns the IP? I know Racdym developed all the games and Atlus published all of them, but I never knew who holds the rights to the series.

For me, that game is Conker's Pocket Tales, and it shall remain unbeaten. However, I received a Game Boy Pocket when I was five, and one of the games I got was Donkey Kong '94. I was stuck on one level for 15 years before breaking through during college and the rest of the game soon after. That felt great!

Yeah, I can see that happening. Though that area's pretty wide. I just meant there's not much opportunity for it when most of the race you're pretty far ahead.

I don't know if Atlus owns the IP, but I THINK they do. I believe the box says that Snowboard
Kids 2 is a trademark of Atlus Co..Ltd.

yay crawling through mediocre gameplay and beating the boss only to get thrown into a button mashing race minigame that doesn't even have the decency of telling you which buttons to mash and you get an instant game over and have to restart the entire level over if you lose.
