Theyd run circles around him and be able to play his non-sequitur game without stooping down to his level. With Bernie it'll be the whole "SOCIALIST COMMUNIST!" thing, but any independent or anyone on the fence isn't stupid enough to fall for that. That'll just be lip service for the people who are already gonna vote for him no matter what. Bernie is smart enough but also brash enough to put up a fight against Trump. he doesn't really hold back and he does so in a very likable way.
