The real stuff, not that nonsense you hear on TV

Dinner = lunch
Tea = dinner
Dae = do, but also don't. So, you might say "I cannae dae that", to mean "I can't do that". But you might also say "I dae want it", to say I don't want it.
Garn = going, or go. As in, "where'd you garn last year for Christmas?"
Where do you stay? = What is your home address
Baltic = Cold.
Pure baltic = freezing
Polis = police
Boaby = penis
Boaby = police (also)
Patter = banter
Scran = food
Tory = C***

I've never heard Scran before.
And lol @ Tories!!

What I am annoyed be is the over use of arse ((sp?))
I feel like that all started after the release of Train Spotting. Which, frankly I never really got in to.
