Oh, I know an obscure retro game on Steam. It's called The Elementalist. I'm certain you haven't heard of it before. It is a very solid game, actually, like a more interesting take on the original Legend of Zelda. Music is not great but that's the only glaring weak spot that I noticed.

I do like my indies.

If you like original takes on Legend of Zelda, I recommend Ittle Dew 1 and 2, they are pretty different from each other. Ittle Dew 1 is based on just 3 items, and through any comination of 2 you can beat the game. A neat concept. Ittle Dew 2 is more traditional, but it also plays a lot better.

and for roguelikes, I currently enjoy COGMIND

Oh hey, the topic didn't purge despite being a week old!

I found out that I don't actually have to buy anything to get Festival Tokens, they are accredited instantly by adding funds to the wallet...

...

But y'all can still recommend stuff!

I recommend "A Short Hike", and if you like seemingly bad games with weirdly deep mechanics "Barony", if you want a TRUE successor to Deja Vu/Shadowgate/uninvited "From Beyond Prologue", if you want Mario Party "100% Orange Juice", and if you hate yourself and want to die... "Emporea"
