Is overindulgence justified to avoid "wasting" food?
Vote
I have no issues throwing out entire plates of prepared food that I paid for or not consuming an entire plate of food that I paid for. I eat til I'm full, then I'll save the rest for later. In no way does the logic of "you should finish your plate because somebody else is out there starving" make sense to me. Not due to a lack of sympathy but because whatever food I'm consuming, or not, was ever going to wind up in said persons life. --- The name is wackyteen* for a reason. I don't think I've ever taken seriously anyone who has said that.

Really? I always thought it's because throwing away food equates to throwing away your parents hard-earned money.
