I was feeling nostalgic, so I watched a random Pokemon episode for the first time in 18 years. The show has scarcely changed over that time period.... yargh. But the kid in me was quite amused by the unexpected slapstick. I've seen all sorts of characters get burned by fire in a slapstick manner, but not a small/cute animal and certainly not a ten year old girl! (these are funny as long as it's pretend, of course) I thought stuff like that was supposed to be taboo? ...it's not like I watch many cartoons these days, so what do I know? (Pancham gets burned a second time later on in the episode, too, hrhr) But yeah, this is totally inane. >_>
